Critical Exposure

Look through the eyes of students as they document their experiences in public schools.

Critical Exposure is an national organization dedicated to using students' documentary photography and first-person narrative to build public demand for quality education and to support campaigns to secure more resources for all public schools.

EXHIBIT & RECEPTION - MARCH 22nd
Thursday, March 22nd from 6:30-8:30pm in D.C. at the ARTiculate Gallery at 16th & L NW.

Come see the first exhibit of D.C. students' photographs and writing. Look through the eyes of D.C. youth as they document their struggles and their aspirations. Middle and high school students from several different local youth organizations have photographed and written about issues impacting their lives, including education and employment opportunities, as well as challenges facing young parents.

The ARTiculate Gallery is one of the city's only youth art galleries. Meet the photographers and see their work. (The nearest metro stop is Farragut North.)
