OK, so I can't take credit for the tip on this one - Dr. van nasty tole me about it last night, and I almost choked on my beer. Millenium Stage/Kennedy Center is giving away free tix, 2 per customer, this Saturday from 9-10am. He's playing the Opera House, which technically seats 2350, but who knows if they're giving away the whole thing. The actual concert is 9pm on Feb 5.Wednesday, January 24, 2007

Or, if you don't feel like camping tonight, they are showing a live broadcast of the show in the foyer on the day of the show--so at least you could still be in the same building with him.

i would love to go and pick up tixies, but, i have to work saturday mornings. if anyone wants to grab me one... well, thats another thing.
Be warned that the Kennedy Center has said that they've been overwhelmed with inquires about this, and the lines may already be forming on Friday night. (See "Sleeping Out For Sufjan?")
Good news is that if you're not in the mood for camping tonight, they are planning to show a live feed of the show in the foyer on 2/5. So at least you can be sort of close.
